Which phenomena can the ADVARNA range measure?
The range covers displacement and crack opening (OBSESSIO X1, OBSESSIO X2, PACK FISSURE AUTONOME), non-contact distance (DISTANCIO), tilt (HORIZIO XY, DISTANCIO), strain with gauges (EXTENSO X1 / X3), and temperature and humidity (THx module). Specifications and applications vary by product.
Which transmission options are available?
Depending on the model: Sigfox, LoRaWAN and LoRa P2P. The PACK FISSURE AUTONOME works with Sigfox or LoRaWAN. The datasheets of OBSESSIO X1, X2, HORIZIO and DISTANCIO also mention M2M radio protocols (Long Distance, Low Power). Tell us the connectivity constraints of your site.
What is the battery life of OBSESSIO X1?
More than 2 years with one measurement per hour on a 3.6 V type A battery, according to its datasheet. A higher acquisition rate shortens the battery life; 4.8 to 32 VDC external power is possible. The project configuration must be specified to assess your needs.
Can the sensors be configured locally?
Yes. OBSESSIO X1, OBSESSIO X2 and DISTANCIO are configured and read locally from a smartphone, tablet or PC over Bluetooth/NFC; HORIZIO is configured over Bluetooth.
How far can DISTANCIO measure?
From 0.05 to 15 m on natural surfaces and from 40 to 150 m on reflective targets, with ± 1.0 mm accuracy regardless of distance. Beyond 15 m, a reflective target is required.
What does the PACK FISSURE subscription include?
A one-year Sigfox or LoRaWAN subscription is included. The detailed services and renewal terms are to be confirmed with ADVARNA.
Is the new cloud platform available?
Not yet: the platform is in development. Contact ADVARNA to be notified of its launch and to discuss the data access options for your current project.
